Helping Hounds is our Mission!
We are a no kill shelter committed to doing whatever we can to provide comfortable and caring homes to Hounds of all types and assistance to owners in need of help or guidance! By working together with other Hound Rescues, our goal is to provide temporary shelter, food and especially love to as many hounds as possible while working to find them appropriate and loving forever homes!
We have over 20 years of experience caring for Bloodhounds and nearly 15 years of experience rescuing Greyhounds, our current pack consists of a variety of Coonhounds and we are gaining more and more knowledge about this amazing breed every day! By working with Rescues across the country, we have provided safe and happy homes for many thankful hounds! Our work is never done though as the economy continues to increase the number of hounds in need!
We currently offer the ability to provide temporary and permanent shelter to hounds in need! We DO NOT have the ability to take Aggressive or Non-Socialized Dogs as our 'resident pack' consists of many hounds of all varieties all living peacefully together. We do have years of dog handling experience with security and tracking dogs and the best vet care available, but do not have isolation facilities or resources to help these dogs. If you are looking for a resource to place such a dog, we'll be happy to help however we can!
